Frequently Asked Questions

  • Read over my website, the services page, FAQs, and pricing. If you have determined that I am a good fit for you, you can schedule your free phone consultation here.

My availability for phone consultations is based on my current openings in my schedule for new therapy clients. I maintain a small caseload which is reflected in my availability.

  • Before we schedule your first session, it is important to determine that I am a good fit for your unique situation. I will ask you questions about why you are requesting therapy now, what you need from your therapist, and how you expect therapy to help you. I will also ask questions about your plan to pay for therapy, what you can expect from therapy with me, and your options for payment.

During this phone call, if it is determined that I am not a good fit for your needs or that you would not like to proceed with me, I will follow up with information with other potential therapy options that may be better suited to your situation.

  • If during your phone consultation, it is determined that I am a good fit for you, we will schedule your therapy intake. I will gather your name, date of birth, and email address. This information will be used to create your client portal. I will send a welcome email containing information on how to access your client portal. Your client portal is how you will complete all paperwork, schedule therapy sessions, and make payments with credit or debit cards.

Your client portal is accessible here.

  • Prior to your first session, you will be given paperwork to complete through your client portal. This paperwork will help inform the purpose of your therapy and why you are meeting with this therapist. During your first therapy session I will ask questions to conduct a bio-psycho-social assessment to determine your issues, struggles, and strengths. This assessment will inform your diagnosis and your treatment goals which we will cocreate together during your first two sessions.
